NOW my brain hurts! Maybe CLM will go to a 3QB system??? Everybody plays, everybody wins, nobody fails, there are no losers (only teams who come in second)! God Help Us if the coaches don't get this RIGHT!
Everyone seems to be forgetting that you don't get a JUCO player if you don't anticipate him to start right away. You especially don't get a JUCO player with Sexual Battery charges if he's going to warm the bench all the time.
Its great news to have another QB on roster for next year and coming years. That said, I dont see him starting. First off Miles has proven to be as stubborn as can be sticking with players who dont belong in the game for whatever reason. Also, Mettenberger is yet to prove himself in a game time situation against SEC quality opposition. At best he plays as the passing QB in another two QB system.
This is spot on. JUCO players are brought in only to fill an immediate need. Especially ones with baggage. I guess we can look around the SEC and hope that Miles has found the gem that others have. Cam, we know the story, Mesoli-with what he had to work with he did a great job, Zack Mett- story to be played out in 2011-start of MNC run.
I agree Les called this kid every week! Les will start JM and run the offense he wants and GC will get on the same page with Les or be gone. If Les is still around 2 weeks after the Cotton Bowl I expect to see LSU in the BCSNC game in Jan of 2012. :milesmic:
This stuff I hear about RS and QB is just stupid. You are not paying attention. RS pushed Les to move him to WR. He saw he did not have the arm for the SEC much less the NFL. The kid wants a pay-day and it will not be at QB. Les had nothing to do with it. Les pushed RS to at least hang with the QB duties one year but RS would have nothing to do with it. What part of that story do you not understand???? :milesmic:
