the first game no running game from LSU, I think that may be the difference for the tiger offense. Sets up more passing for Matt. JV will in my opinion get some good runs.
Ithink LSU is a better team now than they were when they played UGA. Now we have more RB's available.
Georgia's defense is better as well... Having said that... Our offensive line has played on a different level since then, and we have Nate Livings, Terrell McGill, & Rudy Niswanger with more experience now, as well. Our running backs have become a dynamic element in our offense. The top two now are Vincent and Addai. Carey looked like he might have twinged something from what I saw on one carry. He just fell down with no one around him, then limped off. Broussard has bruised ribs, but if he's available for action, then that's one more weapon we've got at tailback. Steltz has emerged as an effective blocking back, and we debuted a jumob set with David Jones as a blocking back/offset blocking back with Steltz in the game on Friday. The run game won't be a problem. Not to mention, we've run reverses, shovel passes, options, draws, fake draws, naked bootlegs, naked bootleg fake option pitch to the wideout screen plays, deep curls, the homerun ball, and the wide receiver screen, and that's all been in the last month... That's not counting the rushing offense. Trust me when I say this...Jawja has WAY too much to prepare for from an offensive standpoint to be able to stop LSU. On defense, look for more of the same. We'll stuff them up, shut them down, bruise them, batter them, and generally beat them black and blue and into submission...
Something else... There is something else that I believe will help LSU. All of those true freshmen (Landry, etc.) are really no longer freshmen. They are battle tested.
Skyler Green is on fire. Every time he touches the ball he makes something happen. ARK game he was great. With him being hot he adds another wrinkle to the O.
