With the way Saban came to Alabama... With the remarks that Miles had about "A new rival in F'n Alabama"... With the pure hate that LSU fans have for Saban... With the NC hopes of LSU in the balance... With the emotion of the game for players and fans... ...Do you think that if Bama wins (or LSU wins for that matter), it may get a little ugly in Tuscaloosa by the 2 fan bases? This rivalry isn't the same anymore...It's not even close. This game means so much more for both sides now! I think that this game will be the most emotional game in the nation all year long. Sure, the media is going to blow it way up but it's already there. Ever since '05 in the OT game, I have waited for this game...When Saban became the coach, it was bigger...when Miles made his remarks, it was even bigger. I think it will be a great game. I dont see LSU pulling away...I see another down-to-the-wire game for both sides. In either case, whether Bama wins or loses, I hope that the fans treat it like a regular game, although I dont think it will be. I think that LSU students will be fired up and fuming if they lose, and the same for Bama fans--but then again, we dont have the expectations that you guys have. We dont expect any 38-7 scores, where a lot of you do. This game is going to be great! We are less than a week away! This week is going to go by so S--L--O--W! ROLL TIDE!!! BEAT :lsup: !!!
this is just another game for us......not sure what you are talking about. Only a handful of players on this team are Sabans, and they realize what the bigger picture is. You guys are not a bigger game to us then Auburn or Florida is.
With the new vids popping up on YouTube and the "We want Saban" chants from your student section...You could've fooled me!
just speaking from an adult's perspective......students will be students. I do not fear the Bama game near as much as I do the Auburn and Florida games.
The people that go to games with their friends and families are different than the hardcore tools in the internet. It will be the usual game and I suspect most will have a good time. I am sure their will be more stupid chants but they for the most part will be in good fun.

I'm just hoping for a cleanly officiated game. For some reason, the term "home cooking" comes to mind when I think of Bama home football. Probably unfair, but call it intuition.
