I'm not sure if Doucet has declared himself for the draft or not but if he stays do y'all see him having a monster year 2007? I remember when he signed with y'all my brother in law (who's a LSU faithful) told me to watch out for this guy he was going to be a goodun'.

With Bowe and Davis gone I would expect Doucet to be a monster next season.

He will be a Tiger next year. I also heard he was incredible in HS at St. Martinville (I think). I also expect another huge year out of him. Great leader and very dependable.

I read where CLM wanted to go to a more pass oriented style offense and anytime that happens the receivers seem to be the ones that benefit. :yelwink2:

Do you see CLM maybe adopting a little bit of the spread?

Doucet should be one of LSU's big guns next year.

Maybe we will see some spread now that Flynn and RP are fast and quality runners at QB but I dont see much of a change in most aspects the LSU offense.

Though I'm obviously not a LSU fan I certainly like watching the RB #5 run the ball (except against Bama of course). With a weapon like that and knowing how the running game can demoralize a defense it would be hard for me not to get that kid the ball as much as I could.

Doucet will defintely be the leader of the WR corps, i'm not sure if he'll be the most productive but I believe he'll be kinda like Skyler Green in 04, when he was the lone returning Receiver and was just clutch in the 4th quarter in most games he was healthy in.

id like to see Lafell, Doucet, rotate with Dickson, C.Mitchell, J.Mitchell. at WR...with Trindon at slot, running reverses...and some direct snaps to doucet and Trindon. Work in the young WR's Benton,Brooks,Toliver(hopefully),and McKnight(hopefully) at RB and taking direct snaps later in the season. Not to mention #5 running wild.

Even with a pass friend offensive philosophy Williams will get his carries. He is too good not to.

I honestly believe that if he puts the work into it, Doucet could be the best WR LSU will have put out in a long time. He has the speed, strength, and athleticism to be really special. All he needs to do is learn to catch more with his hands. I think in time he will be the best pro LSU has produced.
