His numbers this year might make him a second round pick. He also should be SEC player of the year and if he doesnt get then that is bull!:geauxtige :crystal:
If they drafted on talent, heart and basketball skills, D.Mitch would make it (as a second rounder). But, the fact that he's 5'10 ish, will make it hard for teams to pick him. But, you look at pros like Robert Pack (who D.Mitch reminds me a lot of), E. Boykin, Damon Stoudemire, and others, and I think he's got a shot. Darrell needs to work on his handle and his PG skills. If he can show those off in draft camps, he's got a shot. If he's SEC POY, that'll help, but the draft camps will be more important. If you listen to Calhoun, after the Tigers played UConn, he gave D.Mitch a ringing endorsement. D.Mitch IS the man though, no matter what! :geauxtige
I think Mitchell will go pro in something other than basketball. He has been an awesome Tiger, but he is 5'10 in heals. He is probably more like 5'7.
He kind of reminds me of Jameer Nelson. Neslon though is 6'0. And even he is having a little trouble on the defensive end in the NBA. Mitchell will likely have to get quicker on defense to become a second rounder.
Jameer is a true PG. Not so of Darrell. I loved watching Saint Joseph's that year in the Final Four.....
