There are a lot of good SEC matchups in a couple of weeks, but nothing that clearly stands out:

    South Carolina/Florida
    Tennesse/Arkansas
    Georgia/Auburn
    LSU/Bama

My guess is that CBS will pick up Spurrier's return to the swamp, ESPN will take Tenn/Ark and the deuce will pick up either LSU/Bama or Georgia/Auburn. Someone please tell me there is no way the LSU/Bama game will be a Lincoln Broadcast at 11:30 am.

If LF picks it up, the solution is TV on mute and streaming internet audio.

If we have the same stipulations that we had when JP was the title sponsor then we can refuse being a LF game b/c we've already done one this year (Miss St.)
And if we can refuse, then I assure you , we will.

BATON ROUGE -- CBS has notified the Southeastern Conference that the network will use its second and final six-day option before announcing its game for the weekend of Nov. 11. Therefore, the time for this game will not be announced until the evening of Sunday, Nov. 5.

The SEC has indicated that the LSU vs. Alabama football game scheduled for Nov. 4 in Tiger Stadium could be televised by one of four networks: either CBS at 2:30 p.m. CT; ESPN at 6:45 p.m. CT; ESPN2 at 5 p.m. CT; or Lincoln Financial Sports at 11:30 a.m. CT.

Wow, article says it could be on Lincoln. Wonder if the arrangement is different from JP ?

The Lincoln option REALLY sux for us left-coasters because

    1) The game starts at 9:30 AM here. Gotta start partying at like, 7:30 AM!

    2) No regular TV. Gotta go to some bar (that's hopefully open) and start it up....

Ima gonna be P*SSED ifn this thang is carried by Lincoln.... :po:

Lincoln usually gets the bottom of the barrel games.

I think Ark and S. Carolina plays this week, and if S. Carolina wins, CBS will pick up the UF/S. Carolina game b/c of Spurrier's first trip back to Gainesville as a cock instead of a gator.. I personally like to see ESPN pick it up. Nothing better than a Nov. night in Tiger Stadium.
