If Oklahoma's picked to play in the Sugar,it will mark the second time in 3 years a team from the Big 12 will have made the mnc game without even winning their conference!! Living in Austin,I used to hear people b-tch and moan about the SEC being given preferential treatment due to Roy Kramer. I have a bad feeling either the Tigers or Trojans are about to get screwed.(I hope not) Sooners,you had your chance last night and YOU BLEW IT!!!!
You know ABC will be hyping the Sooners. Not only to build up the game and prop up the BCS, but to pick up the team that plays so many games on its airwaves throughout the season. It was entertaining to watch John Saunders on "Sports Reporters" try to defend the BCS and OK's selection. He trotted out an argument that we will surely hear a lot of the next few days; that the Sooners loss to KSU is a "better" loss than a loss to UF or Cal. What a rotting fish of an argument. To their credit, Lupica, Wilbon, and Albom were having none of it. You could tell that Saunders just wanted the segment to be over with. I'm sure that by this afternoon that he and Terry Bowden will have convinced themselves that the BCS has worked perfectly again !!!
Are you kidding me? Anything S.E.C or big 10,11 gets all the media bias. Not opinion just plain ole fact.
