I hope Barrington Edwards does not become another Kendall Cleveland; in other words, a guy who spent his eligibility in the shadow of other good backs. It seems he should be redshirted; otherwise, he becomes just an insurance policy.

  2. According to Saban he (Barrington) wanted no part of being on the bench this year. I also hope he doesnt take a back seat but it's kind of a nice problem for us to have...... having loads of talent that is.

You have no idea how good this guy is!

When it's all said and done, Barrington will be the best one out of the 5 rb's. Just wait and see.

He will get his turn with the 1st team OLINE just like the rest of them. Saban wanted to redshirt him but Barrington was set on playing this year even if it meant playing special teams.

You're just going to have to take my word on this one. You should see Saban's eyes open up when Barrington's name is mentioned.

We have 5 solid rb's. I' m thrilled we can say this!

  4. Our depth at RB is indeed amazing and going to do nothing but get better. I'm very excited to see how the team develops from here on out. An awesome change from years passed.

He is not being wasted, as Edwards is a very good special teams player. Saban puts his best athletes on special teams and it shows.

He has only played a mop-up role in games at tailback so far, but he is getting valuable game experience and will be better for it next year and beyond.

I love watching him on ST...he gets so fired up and loves to get the crowd into the game...He reminds me of Kevin Faulk with his excitement

Is he the one that is always first on the field and pumping up the crowd on kick offs? I never noticed his #.

Crawfish is right IMO. Barrington Edwards is going to play a lot of footbal for us. He is #32.

    Barrington Edwards

I would love to see him get 100 yards this week. That way we would have 5 RBs get 100 in a game this year. What a great stat for recruiting RBs and OLs.
