Will Bama's boosters ever learn??

If asked a question by a recruit and one begins talking about a particular school, no matter how innocent the conversation may be, it's a violation. Take a second and read Red's earlier post. If you are a fan, you aren't allowed to talk to players. Even under the role/job of a reporter, it raises red flags to the NCAA and they consider it impermissable contact.

I can say this because I've seen it happen, know the individual it happened with, and to say the least once the NCAA looked into it it was one of those situations where they decided that while it was against the spirit of the rules they've established, it was a situation they wouldn't pursue due to where it may lead.

The individual was a reporter, much like you said your work entailed. The two situations mirror each other. Splitting image is a great cliche' to describe both situations.

I'm not one to partake in petty banter. However, when the truth is misconstrued about things pertaining to Alabama I'll address it. In this case, "I can't believe Bama is dumb enough to pay for a recruits family travel." It simply wasn't the truth.

Perhaps, if you would rather me not respond or comment to things you say about Alabama you may consider factual statements? No one likes to be corrected. That, I understand. This isn't the first time this has happened and each time I've called attention to those mistakes (perhaps you are just misinformed) your response has been to enter a world I'm not familiar with.

 

Okay, here we go again. Your comments above speak volumes of how arrogant you are. Anyone from Bama that spends this much time on another schools board correcting posts and demeaning others has some serious issues. I guess you need the attention.
