    Actually

I think it would because ND beat Navy and if Army beats Navy then that Lowers ND SOS and then a loss by Navy make the Cuse win over ND makes USC SOS that much less.

Who Freakin Knows but Navy is going to roll Army

You actually have it right. It would be a loss for USC's opponent's opponents where a win was expected. Has less of an effect than a direct opponent losing (1/3 of the SOS score vs. 2/3 in the formula), but an effect nonetheless.

It's a wash either way. Army played Hawaii, which played USC. Navy played Notre Dame, which played USC. So USC is not overly helped or hurt by this, but I would figure a Navy win, making Army 0-13, would drag down Hawaii's SOS more significantly and have more of an impact than an Army win.

Didn't know we had so many jar-heads on this board. HOOYAH NAVY! BEAT ARMY!
