I think the reason they'll win is a simple, yet key facet of any game strategy...

    LSU will score more points.

Unless they are playing golf where the low score wins.

Or we could play a tennis type point system. Game, Set, Match.

OC Jimbo Fisher will have a nice game plan against the dawgs so-called vaunted defense. LSU will open up throwing early and spread the field and this will open the run. As for our defense, the dawgs will find out Sat why we are #2 in the nation.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!

    LSU 35-UGA 21

Over our last six games the combined score is 196-33. The average score of our opponents over that time is 5.5 per game. Which is exactly what the average score against us has been this year. We lead the SEC in scoring defense and red zone defense this year just like we did last year. We also lead in turnover margin. No one has scored 30 points on a Van Gorder defense. It's possible all of that could change on Saturday but that seems like a long shot. I know LSU has a very strong offense but something tells me it's going to come down to the defenses in the red zone. If field goals determine this one I like our chances.

Whoever wins I'm glad LSU and UGA are in the limelight this weekend. I just wish Fred Gibson wasn't out for this one. It would have been great to see two of the nations elite recievers going at it.

Fred Gibson only played in one series last week and look what happened.

David Greene didn't miss a beat. And he won't on Saturday.

David Greene will have at least 250 yards through the air.
Matched by a running game that will have 150+ yards.

Billy Bennett will hit the 40 yarders while LSU won't.

The Georgia defense will test the strength of the LSU field goal capabilities. I look for at least one blocked FG attempt.

And keep an eye on Michael Cooper. I think that Richt will finally let him loose this weekend.
