These kind of posts from some of the ignorant south la. people will always be found. I came from the Shreveport / Bossier City and i dont claim it is the greatest place in the world but it has a lot of good about it. I dont know why the people of South La. feel the need to put down the north. I guess it comes from the fact that they feel they are the State of Louisiana. I am proud of the entire State and when someone asks me where i come from i say Louisiana proudly. But sometimes i am ashamed that the people of the Southern part of La. dont respect and cherish what value the northern part brings to the State. Did you see the people of the Northern part helping when the Southern part needed it. My parents had 22 people living with them for 3 months . My dad helped people from the Southern part find jobs to help them. Do you people think that New Orleans came out looking good after Katrina. I remember the people of North La. helping to pay for the Superdome. So those of you bad mouthing Shreveport and the Northern part can kiss my ass.
This whole northern Louisiana vs. southern Louisiana thing is just like the Big 10 vs SEC thing. Obviously, southern Louisiana is more glamorous than northern Louisiana, and obviously the SEC is more glamorous than the Big 10. But northern Louisiana people and Big 10 people need to realize not to be so sensitive about it when southern Louisiana people and SEC people tease them about it. It's all in good fun.
I kid with the Alabama people on their trailers. So i am not going to pretend that i dont bias too. I could just as easy poke fun at the glamorous people too. You really looked good in that whole Katrina thing. The truth is their are both good and bad things about both areas.
