The guy isn't fat, he's tall, he's obviously athletic enough to play D1A ball yet he's in slow motion and gets tackled at the shoe string... what gives? i'm not blaming the game on him but I think it's evident we're not going to win anything of note with him and maybe just start playing Perriloux and see if he can be a stud.

Don't be ridiculous. Lets not forget that he is a top rated passer with a canon, who unfortunately is stuck with a one dimensional offense. JR might make some mistakes, but he is an exceptional quarterback and deserves to be the starter.

I don't think that Russell is put in the best position to win. With his arm strength he should be flinging 10-20 yard throws all over the field all day long. The long ball is just not working out for us. I have to say though, after fumbling the ball on the 1 freaking yard line, the game was pretty much over then. This is two top 10 teams we've played on the that have practically begged us to beat them and we're just too nice to do that in their house.
