that article was written before miss st.
vandy still has to out score us. they don't have the athletes the vols have. i think we will run all over them.
also i've seen their wideouts drop alot of balls this year, even the short ones.
now florida may be a different story.

    Jamarcus Russell vs Moo U?

I think our D will defend the pass a lot better from here on out. Having MSU to practice on will help us in the long run.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Contained Chaos again.

The 3 step drop is hard for any attacking defense to defend because it doesn't give you much time to get to the opposing quarterback. However, our Dline is strong enough that we should be able to pressure Cuttler all day long even without blitzing. I'm confident our defense will continue to improve and will hold Vandy under 14 points, easily (and that includes the 4th quarter when our backups are in).

Another key to stopping the quick drops is for the CBs to press hard. The LB's must also stuff up those close passing lanes. Forget them blitzing, we'd get burned. I think they need to drop into short coverage. OSU ate our lunch with that last year.
