It used to be, you bought the SI College Football Preview edition (with your team on the cover) before the season started, read up on yours and a few rival teams. Then the season starts and you invest 3hrs on a saturday (except if it's a home game), win or lose that was it for the next seven days. Maybe ESPN touched on your game in a "wrap-up" show, maybe you tuned in to local talk radio to hear some banter on your drive home, but there was no warring message boards, 24/7 analysis, videos and images that people could send around effortlessly to rub a loss in, etc... I used to just wait for the next game.

Well OK, I really don't hate the internet. It's great after a win. But it's like I knowingly torture myself all week long after a loss with this damn thing.

This loss especially. Not only did we lose, we had no running game, had some possible game changing calls against us (which also unfortunately might even hurt Auburn in the rankings), the low score will look bad to those that get polled (again just bad for the SEC in general, we know how good or D's are but these writers aren't watching every game). I hate to think Auburn will get screwed again, I hate Auburn, but they deserve a fair crack at the title. To be honest, I don't see them losing two games so I hope they don't even lose one. The way their schedule is, it will take a miracle for not one but two losses.
