the BCS? Sure, it needs some tweeking, but it's still better than the AP and Coaches poll. It's not bias It's not emotional It's not territorial (anything else?) BCS is not perfect, but until we have a playoff----
It's amazing. Pete Carroll of USC suddenly does a 180 on the BCS. It worked in HIS favor all season until Dec.6th, now he disagrees with it and wants the "human" polls ( actually only one poll.. the AP) to be the ONE that counts. If he had a problem with the system why did he not voice it before the season got going. In the current system it does not matter WHEN your loss is, and rightfully so. As far as his scheduling woes go... the BCS came about 5 years ago. USC scheduled those weak non-conference games, not OU or LSU. Now, unfortunately, just like in 2000 our players and coaches will not get the full respect of the nation if they win on Jan. 4th. We will know that we are king of the hill , but the conflict will still remain. Miami is still crying from 2000... get ready for it. www.crimsonreign.com
