It really get's me how cocky LSU Players & Fan's are in this up comimg game.Folk's this will be a WAR.Maybe the worst thing for LSU was the way this Sooner team was beat in the big 12 Championship.Now I hear LSU players putting bulletin board stuff on the board.Well I hope you all go into this game thinking your defense is so much better & your offense the same.The OU team that WILL show up will not be the same team you saw in the Big 12 Championship.The Sooners have won 7 national Championships & you #1.You have the home advanage, no question.But Oklahoma plays Texas EVERY year in DALLAS!Don't think they will come down there thinking they can't win.LSU is a GREAT team & don't get me wrong on that!But if you think this Sooner team is overrated forget that.I have followed the Sooner's for 50 years & this maybe the best Sooner team I have seen.If you judge this team on the K-st lose than you are a fool.This is also the best LSU team I have seen.I can tell you this,Billy Cannon would tell you the same.THIS WILL BE A WAR.www.crimsonreign.com

Show us this so called bulletin board material from LSU players. I hear these clowns calling into sports radio shows in OKC talking about this LSU smack talk, and I have yet to see any of it. I and many other LSU fans believe this will be a close, hard fought game and we believe that LSU will win it. What I see and hear from OU fans are our offense stinks and how JW is gonna light us up. If anyone is talking smack and being cocky it's the sooners.

Nobody thinks Oklahoma is going to be a pushover. Oklahoma has been the 900-pound gorilla in college football this year and is perfectly capable of whipping LSU's ass. Fly just doesn't seem to believe that the reverse could also be true. The Sooners are not invincible. We just have overwheming confidence in this LSU team. I realize many schools aren't this cocky when facing Oklahoma, but you must realize that this is the best LSU team in 45 years and they are hitting on all cylinders right now. They finished the season by dominating a half-dozen ranked SEC teams. And the title game is in Louisiana. Oklahoma has the size, speed, talent and the coaching to win the national championship and will go into this game as heavy favorites. . . but they are going to have their hands full with this Tiger team. This is going to be a great game and no one will remember the Rose Bowl on January 5. LSU by 10.
First of all it wont be a "WAR". It will be a hard fought football game. I have a friend of mine who visits this board when he can who is currently an Army Ranger in Tikrit (He posts here sometimes) Thats war. This is a football game. However this will be a very difficult game for LSU, OU is one hell of a football team and on paper and in awards is more talented.. We are confident in our tigers, that is true, but this LSU fans knows that beating OU will be a very huge feat. I have watched OU all year.... They are pretty f'ing good.
Is there any part of your post that is true? what bulletin board material? who thinks OU is a pushover? So the greatest OU team in the last 50 years was beat down by Kansas State? I hope those 7 national titles all help you in this game. how in the hell that will happen I don't know but thanks for letting us know that. LSU is every bit as good as OU and may be better, but the teams are very close and to think one of them would be a pushover would indicate said person doesn't have a clue. It should be a great game, but all the disrespect I see is from OU. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!! PS don't think your little slams at LSU went unnoticed, all your putting down on LSU for "only" one MNC, yeh so what? I suspect you will have a new respect for the man - Nick Saban - when this is all over.
Why is it that OU always brings up the fact that they've won 7 titles? Thats great and everything, but how will it help them win this year? How many of the players on the team saw significant playing time during the 2000 season? As far as the 'smack' talk by LSU players, that is something I haven't heard much of all season. What I do hear coming out of the Tiger locker room is all about the Tigers doing what they need to do to get the job done. This team, more than any other LSU team before them, seems to be focused on the task at hand instead of getting the 'Look at me' media coverage. Geaux Tigers
