What an asinine thread. Talk about a non sequitur...

Simple: most LSU fans find football to be vastly more interesting and exciting, from an event/gameday experience, than a track meet, a soccer match, a gymnastics event, a swim meet, etc.

If you're such a stand-up, good as gold LSU sports supporter, then surely you're a big supporter of EVERYTHING LSU, right?

I mean, I'm sure you'll be first in line to hang out with the incoming freshman during orientation later this summer. The LSU chess club holds it's first meeting of the fall semester? You'll be the one posting flyers on campus, no doubt, the week before. Skip Bertman reaching blindly for a towel because he got shampoo in his eyes during his morning shower? There you are, towel in hand, to help him out.

Get my drift? In fact, genius, it's the dollars football fans dole out each year that funds the entire damn department, so there's your support for LSU sports right there (this goes for TAF contributions as well). Not seeing the need to sit around for a few hours watching some incredibly fast men and women dash for 100 meters does not in any way make me less of an "LSU fan".

Geez, are you still whining about not getting Sugar Bowl tix?

    Grow up, already.

His last big rant was about how bootleg DVD buyers were thugs...

The dude has clarity of thought, I'll say...

    NOT!
