their sensitivity is obvious and understandable. this has been discussed on TF before---white guy gets stopped by a cop for going 49 in a 45. he takes his lumps, probably curses him as he drives away. that's it. black guy gets stopped by a cop (guess it has to be a white cop) for going 49 in a 45 and there is no way he can avoid wondering (or even getting mad at) the possibility that he was profiled. as this is reasonable based on that black man's experiences, the countless stories (true or not) that he has heard, and the numerous high profile stories that have happened nationwide. it would take a great man to silence his own objections but an even greater man to somehow be able to avoid those feelings. ps. i still love that obama came out and told black america to get their $hit together.
I actually like Mastermind. I just wish he would not get so insulted & sensitive when it comes to discussing race & black people. Mastermind, I understand you don't want to be stereotyped or hear the "n" word, but I do not think getting upset helps anything. You manage to make it appear like you are posting rationally, but really your whole responses are very aggressive and accusatory.
