From what i understand we need to win out and root for the vols to improve our SOS in the championship game, because a second game with georgia or florida would not count... am i right?

would beating the vols help our SOS enough to jump USC in the BCS?

or do we need to see florida and avenge our loss and then b*tch about the bcs system when we don't make it?

I think we need to pull for auburn over georgia so we can play tennessee. Not only will ut strengthen our sos, but our poll numbers will shoot up from the looks of it. The espn guy that projects the bcs has ut at 6. This has to be from their computer averages, so hopefully we can steal their computer points!

SOS is determined by the records of our opponents(66.6666666%) and the records of our opponents' opponents (33.3333333%). I wonder if we play UF in the championship game would their record count twice for our SOS? If not, I hope we play Tennessee, so we could get credit for a quality win over UGA, the benefit of UF's record for our SOS, and hopefully a win over the Vols for more quality win points. But of course, we have to make it to Atlanta first. No need for me to give anyone any reason to dog on me for putting the cart before the horse.
