    Yeah I heard Smoke was gonna intentionally walk 8 batters in a row but was overruled by Skip who made a call into the dugout. Thank goodness.

    There are a hundred little things that go on that we, as fans, know nothing about. For instance, I read that Smoke moved Clay Harris to the 8th spot in the order because he didn't want him to feel as though he had to carry the team offensively.Clay responded by going 3 for 4 with a 3 run dinger that put the game away.

    That's why I get so frustrated when some "fans" call for a coach's head in response to any adversity.
