What's the tie breaker? Didn't we split the season?

If MSU beats Bama = LSU wins West
If Bama beats MSU = Bama wins West

The Vandy game as no affect on the West title....

first tie breaker apart from SEC conference record is the western div. record. ours is 8-2, bama is 8-1. if msu beats them, their west div record will be 8-2. while that will still yield a tie, our records vs west seeded 1-6 will be LSU even vs Alabama, 2-0 vs MSU while alabama is 1-1 vs msu. that will send us into the #1 seed.

Run this part by me again... I got that the second tie breaker is record in the western division. The third tiebreaker is what exactly? Is it versus each individual opponent in the west starting from the top and working our way down till the tie is broken?

The 3rd tie breaker is the individual record against your divisional opponents, starting from the top of the division standings.

MSU will be 3rd in the division behind LSU and Bama. Should MSU beat Bama, that'll give us a 2-0 record against MSU and Bama will be 1-1.
