Big 12-Wisconsin. Ohio State is in a reload year. I'd say Michigan but I don't trust Lloyd Carr to keep his team playing to full capacity every game this year. Wisconsin more by default.

Big East- WVU. The conference is a two-horse race with Louisville. WVU has UL at home so I'd pick them.

    SEC- LSU. No explanation needed.

Pac-10. USC. A superior team compared to the rest of the conference. The only lock to win the conference in all the BCS conferences.

Big 12- Texas. No real reason other then I think Colt McCoy is going to have a big year.

ACC- Florida State. VaTech is the preseason favorite and will have a nasty defense. However, Jimbo Fisher is going to turn the FSU offense into a competent unit this year. The defense is always good and that should be good enough to eek out a title in the ACC IMO.

    Others:
    MWC-TCU
    SBC- Troy
    WAC- Boise State

I agree with all the picks except FSU. I think it will take some time to gel as as an offensive unit and VT is going to have a great defense, special teams, and a better running game than last year.

i agree with you on the SEC, big XII, and Big East (WVU).

i do think va tech will win the acc b/c of that D, fla st and miami will need a year or so.

it's hard to predict the big 10. most of michigan's tough games are at home except for the badgers. wisconsin has ohio st and penn st away. the winner of the UM - UW game will probably take it. i guess i'll go with the badgers too.

Bix 11 - Michigan? I really don't know. No one team stands out. Lloyd has proven he can win big in the past, but does this team have that kind of talent?

Big East - WVU b/c UL replaced their coach.

SEC - LSU looks like the only NC contender right now, so even taking off my P&G glasses that is my pick.

Big XII - Nebraska. OU wins the south, but Nebraska wins the championship game.

ACC - Miami. They were close to being a very good team last year, they just needed some better leadership. I'm not sure whether this new coach is it or not, but I think he could be. Virginia Tech always fizzles at the end of the year , so I have no faith in them to win the conference. Jimbo should start the turn around of Florida St, but he has a lot of work to do. I don't think he'll get it down this year.

Pac 10 - USC, and not just because the conference sucks. USC is going to be a great team.

Big 11: Wisconsin is loaded... however... whenever anyone except tOSU or Michigan is picked, the media announces the Big Ten is down... whatever... watch out for Iowa... gone are Drew Tate's 19 picks last year... in comes Jake Christensen... now a red-shirted soph... 5 star... and Michigan and tOSU have rotated off our schedule... we open the conference at Wisconsin... win that one... who knows. The Wissies play at tOSU and at PSU before getting Michigan at home... no one will run the table.
    SEC: LSU
ACC: WVU... only because they get UL at home.
Big 12: Texas... home for all their big games except A&M.
PAC 10: USC in a walk.
ACC: FSU... only because I'm patient and keep thinking they're the FSU I remember.

I like Hawker's points about the Big 11, so I'll change my pick tp Iowa but they burned me pretty bad last time I picked them to win the conference in '05.

Big 11: I would agree with Wisconsin, they dont' get the pub that OSU or UM. PSU is a dark-horse too.
SEC: many contenders with LSU emerging
Big East: Louisiville has a better D than WVU so I think they come out of that
ACC: I don't think FSU is ready yet...VT looks real good, with GT close behind.
Pac 10: USC....i guess someone has to win this conference
Big 12: Either UT/OU, i say UT because of a stronger offense and a good enough D.

Big 11: Wisconsin...underrated last year. PLUS Michigan, OSU, and Wisconsin all play each other this season so who ever comes out on top, wins the conference.

Pac-10: USC...I hate them but, they're good, real good.

Big 12: Texas...Could run into trouble with Nebraska

ACC: Virginia Tech. Playing with a purpose and they have an awesome defence. Not to mention the big guys in the conference are rebuilding.

Big East: Cincinnati...I have to make one outlandish pick and this is it. If I'm wrong, I look like an idiot, right and I'm a genius.Finished 8-5 last year. WVU and Louisville are home. Besides, who thought Wake Forest would win the ACC?

Big 11: I like Sconsin but I bet they choke with the pub they're now getting (sort of). I'm rooting for Iowa just for Hawker and his bio-bags self.

Pac-10: vball has made me a USC fan. Damn. I'd pick 'em anyways, but now I might be cheering for em. UCLAME, not FUSC, eh?

Big 12: Tejas is getting the publicity, but I'd like to see OU or Nebraska win it simply because I don't really like Tejas.

ACC: Va Tech is going to be a strong team with most of them coming back from a fantastic year. Hard to see anyone topping them save themselves. I don't expect Wake to repeat their luck this year- maybe next year.

    Big East: Louisville- Bobby who?

Did I miss any? Oh yeah.

    Comissioner's Cup: ND. Grats again.

    SEC: Kentucky.
