It's about time to start thinking of who might be candidates for one of the many All-American and All SEC teams. I'll throw out these names.

    All-American
DT Lavalais -- having an AA year for sure. 1st team prospect
WR Clayton -- could make some AA second teams

    All-SEC
    DT Lavalais -- concensus
    WR Clayton -- consensus
    CB Webster -- consensus
OG Peterman -- 1st team prospect
OT Whitworth -- 1st team prospect
PR Green -- 1st team prospect
DE Spears -- 2nd team prospect
DE Hill -- 2nd team prospect
QB Mauck -- 2nd team prospect
    C Wilkerson -- 2nd team prospect
    WR/KR Henderson -- 2nd team prospect

DB Landry, RB Vincent, DE Pittman may see some All-Freshman teams.

    Who did I miss?

Chad Lavalais will go down in LSU history as one of those tough, quick, wild eyed bayou boys like Ronnie Estay, Benji Thibodeaux and Ramsey Dardar. He might have a shot at AA since the Tigers have been on TV so much this year and in each game he's had a lot of focus on him. Let's hope he gets the honor that he deserves.
