Was looking at the Alabama forum web site. They were discussing teams who tailgate the best at home and on the road. LSU seems to win hands down!!!!. Mostly positive comments from our friends at BAMA. Check it out!

LSU tailgates in droves. I think VT fans were caught really off guard. I was proud of the way LSU traveled to that game even with the great distance. The best road showing I have seen has to be either 2002 at Gainesville or 2001 at Tuscaloosa. Tiger fans were in full force for both of those games. I had so much fun going to Florida last year.

Not counting LSU because we are professionals, the best amateur tailgaiters are probably the Razorbacks. Those hog callin' bastards are serious about their barbeque!

Besides LSU I would have to say UT(Texas)LOL. I went to the UT-A&M game last season and it is a pretty sad sight. The game was at 11:00 am and there was nearly no tailgating for the obvious reasons. I saw people tailgating from a parking garage with dougnuts and OJ(I don't think they were making Screwdirvers either). Most peolpe went to Schultz's Beer Garden and were buying over priced Bud Light. Not much tailgating at UT period. Once in the stadium the UT fans were very quite. The A&M fans were making more noise than the home Longhorns. The Horn fans kept sitting down every time there was a timeout for TV and what not.

Of course Tiger fans tailgate better than anybody else by a long shot but I gotta give Green Bay Packer fans second place. The get to the Lambeau Field parking lot at 6 AM on gameday and they have to keep their beer inside their cars to keep it from freezing solid while they grill their brats and whatever outside.
