Maybe Pelini is coaching the LBers. There was no "LB coach" on the staff last year either, but we know/assume Aranda was coaching them. Whoever it is or supposed to be, he ain't getting it done.
Aranda wanted Busch on staff, he actually asked for Busch to coach safeties. A move I have never liked. Aranda was DC and coached the linebackers. O stupidly just kept the same format in place. Pelini was DC and Peveto was LB coach. Chavis our DC before Aranda was DC and LB coach. So it's been a format in place for a while. Some teams don't have a ST coach. Just depends. We don't have a full time TE coach on staff either. O made horrific hires this offseason.
