I hope Miles wins big so we get some of the great (expletive) comments every week. I can't imagine what the guy is goinig to do if we lose a game.

LSU will look familiar on offense, but defense will undergo a few changes
    Friday, March 11, 2005

    By Mike Triplett

    Staff writer

BATON ROUGE -- The players won't be the only ones adjusting to a new system when LSU opens its spring football practice today.

First-year coach Les Miles said the Tigers will use the same offensive terminology used under former coach Nick Saban and offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher.

Miles said he figured that would work best for everyone, especially since Fisher remained on the staff. But it will be a new way of doing things for Miles. He brought his own offensive system and terminology to Oklahoma State, where he was first an offensive coordinator then head coach.

I don't know about you, but this quote gets me so jacked up for football season, I might just go punch my boss in the face.

Miles has always had that passion about football and I (expletive) love it.

I'm right there with you, buddy. That's a flat out awesome quote.

You can just imagine how emotional and intense this guy gets at practice and behind closed doors... :D

Wish the athletic department would video tape (ala NFL Films) some behind the schenes footage--following his first year as head coach--and then have the media relations put together a DVD and sell it to the general public.

I for one LOVE NFL Films and their back-stage passes, locker room speeches, etc. I think it would get the athletic department some pretty decent cash!

WOOHOO! That's good news, as he's a definite upgrade over the Feeley/Rosenfels combo!!

Seriously, I've got to think that as much as Coach Miles is liked by the players, deep down, they've got to be scared to death of him too. He seems more than a tad bit off his rocker at times, a la one of the all-time greats...DITKA.

Which poses an interesting question. Who do you got?

1 Coach Miles v. 15 mini-Ditkas, playing at a neutral site? I got CLM, but it's close! :hihi:
