If the names "Obama" and "Palin" were removed from their respective resumes and then evaluated side by side for applicable "experience", I wonder how many would select the Obama resume or the Palin resume?

PS: Try to leave GOP or Dem talking points out

Apples and oranges. They are not running for the same office. Let's ask the same question of Obama and McCain.

its too simplistic to vote based on a cv

if it was all resume then romney would be the candidate

It doesnt mean too much. In Alabama Governor George Wallace's resume' based on just position and experience would easily be one of the best in our state's history.

Trying to be objective here, but it's hard.

I think being a Governor seems more like executive experience than being a senator. Even being a mayor for that matter. I understand that this can be used against McCain as well, but I'm trying to stick to the subject at hand.

Senator's share responsibility with 100 other senators. Mayors and Governors must make many decisions quickly and on their own. Granted, she has not been in the Governor's mansion long, but it is still more experience than Obama at this level.

Obama and Palin both have what it takes to do well in Washington, I think.

Have you ever actually listened to Obama away from a teleprompter?

He is what amounts to an Affirmative Action candidate.
If his handlers don't figure out something right, we're screwed.
