Who has faith in Bertman?

I think Bertman was a great coach, motivator and evaluator of talent. Those skills have also helped him become one of the best ADs in the country (imo). I trust him more than the board or incoming president to evaluate and select the best coach for LSU (for football and the upcoming basketball coach search).

Do you have faith in Bertman targeting the “best fit” coach for LSU?

 

I do.
Not to mention that Saban himself has given Skip some input on who he thinks would be a great fit. I will take my chances with those two anyday.

 

I do without question, he has done nothing but good for LSU and that does NOT count the Baseball legacy.
He has LSU first and is one of the few that truly bleed purple and gold.

I trust Skip 100%, he may miss but he will have LSU best interest in mind both now and in the future.

I do too. With Sabans input and Skip's skills, Im confident he will make the right moves. What Im not as confident about is the BOS. With our current administrator status in transition I could see some BOS bumble heads trying muddle the process.

 

The BOS input scares me as well. The Advocate ran a story the other day about a few of the individual BOS members wanting more input in running the program than Emmert let them have with Nick.

Like everyone I have my favorite for head coach, but if Bertman says someone else is the right choice then I am satisfied. I am thankful Bertman is ad.

 

Skip is the man to get this thing done right.

 

Just remember Emerett hired Saban....

 

What does that have to do with trusting Skip? Skip wasn't the AD then.

 

All I am saying is Bertman will prove himself a good AD with a good hire.

 

Agreed ... no more on the job training for Skip.
