Eight to ten starters must be replaced in the spring. Who will step into the vacated positions:

    Jamarcus Russell QB 3L
    Glen Dorsey DT 3L

These junior starters could be first round picks and leave early for the NFL and both must be replaced.

    Garett Wibel OG SQ
    Terrell Clayton WR SQ
    Michael Ricks LB SQ
    Leo Desselle DT SQ
These senior squadmen have labored on the scout team for four years. Surely Les has capable walkon's to replace these unsung heroes.

    Paris Hodges OL 1L
    Peter Dyakowski OT 2L
    Sammy Joseph CB 2L

Joseph transferred in late and was a valuable reserve. The linemen didn't see the field much until Wilkerson, Niswanger, Livings, and Whitworth graduated. Dyakowski beacame a starter and will need replacing. Who steps up?

    Ryan Willis DE 3L
    Ryan Gaudet PK 3L

Three-year lettermen who saw a lot of reserve playing time, but are not starters.

    Chris Jackson K 4L
    Justin Vincent RB 4L
    Dwayne Bowe WR 4L
    Jessie Daniels SS 4L
    Daniel Francis DB 4L
    Keron Gordon S 4L
    LaRon Landry FS 4L
    Chase Pittman DE 2L
    Keith Zinger TE 4L
    Jason Spadoni LB 4L
    Doug Planchard TE/C 4L
    Craig Davis WR 4L
    Brian Johnson OT 4L

This is the core of the senior class. Thirteen four-year lettermen including nine starters who must be replaced. Zinger was a starter before injury and his heir is apparent in Dickson. Who will fill the other eight positions?
