Came across this article, http://www.sports-central.org/sports/2005/02/24/which_college_is_quarterback_u.php, which the arthur takes a stab at ranking the quarterback U schools. LSU is listed as #4, but he promotes Neb ahead of this when he defends himself against all the inevitable crap he took for doing this, http://www.sports-central.org/sports/2005/03/02/addressing_the_qbu_controversy.php. I'm just posting this as an item of interest.
It's funny, but my first response to this question, before I even looked at the list was: "Gotta be Stanford." There've just been too many good ones that have come out of there. I was surprised to find Duke on the list.
i didnt look but i would think Miami should be 1, BYU 2 or 3. oregon? thats dan fouts and joey harrington? who else. i refuse to click it. :hihi:
No. The author explicitly states that it's about *THE NUMBER OF QUARTERBACKS WHO WERE DRAFTED RIGHT OUT OF COLLEGE BY THE NFL OR AFL*, and they are tied for 25th place with 10. Why this is too hard for a lot of people to understand is beyond me. He was criticised in his response by someone *Todd Erickson* who pulled some research out of his ass naming a few quarterbacks who bumbled around the CFL and NFLE before finally ending up in the NFL. That's not part of the criteria.
