I'm still holding out hope for the Sugar. Us beating tenn should get them fired up enough to beat Arky next week, and us beating BAMA next week, hopefully won't crush their spirit too bad , so they can beat Auburm the following week. Hello 3-way tie, LSU wins tiebreaker, we get a re-match with Fla. Payback! Sugar Bowl appearance, Give me the Big East winner, so we can redeem the SEC from that UGA loss last year. Then we start counting down to Oct. 20, 2007 so we can repay Auburn's lil b!tch @$$e$ in our house.
Walking around Neyland on Saturday, I saw plenty of Outback Bowl gents and a couple Cotton Bowl reps. Outback may have been looking at TN though since they favor an SEC East team.
Well, as long as we mathematically have a shot at the Sugar Bowl, then that's where I'd like for us to be....But as soon as we're eliminated from that, I would say that we're in good shape for the Capital One bowl--which is widely considered the best non-BCS bowl to play in in terms of payout, etc.
ESPN has us in the Capital One vs Wisconsin. Either way, if we end up matched with a Big Ten team, I think we can win that matchup handily. OSU and Michigan are pretty much the only Big Ten teams that can matchup with us, IMO.
