LSU will be going to a bowl game which one ? Georgia will be looking for revenge they (the Ga fans ) think that they were robbed in Baton Rouge , now then history comes to play a role . Can LSU beat GA two times in one year ? Will the Tigers be up for this game ?

I know this sounds like sour grapes but if LSU wins the SEC, and does not play in the Sugar, I wont be watching any.
I still want someone to explain to me why LSU plays 4 BCS teams (Ark was 25 until we beat them) has 1 Loss to a top 25 team, yet is behind a team who has 1 loss also to an unranked team and has only played 1 team in the top 25 AND DOES NOT EVEN HAVE TO PLAY A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME....

I know its childish but if LSU wins on Saturday and gets rooked. I wont watch any, I will attend the LSU bowl game, as far as the rest its all crap as far as I am concerened.

    I think the SEC game

To play Ga again a team that LSU beat will not give any points. Plus the media sports people want S CAL they really want OKLA to win . I maybe wrong .

If this happens a change has to happen.

2000 Season Miami does not get in even though they beat FSU
2001 Season We beat beat TEN putting NEB in the game even though NEB could not even make it to their own Big 12 Championship game much less win their conference.
    2002 Season Probably correct
2003 Season ??? If we beat Georgia (first things first) either team that gets it will cause some controversy.

Again we have to win Saturday, but if we do it will be the third year in the last four that 3 or 4 teams have a very good argument that they should be in the Championship game. This would prove that there should be at a minimum a 4 Team playoff. Maybe using the BCS bowls rotating between the play offs and Championship game while keeping all the rest of the bowls as a kind of compromise system.

I know what you mean. If LSU wins the SECCG and gets F*CKED by the BCS, I'll watch the Fiesta or whatever bowl they're in but it will be hard to get excited about the What Might Have Been Bowl. I wouldn't even be able to force myself the watch the Sugar Bowl if its USC and not LSU. The BSC is totally idiotic. LSU can help themselves more by beating Georgia by one point that they would by beating them by 50. If LSU is ahead by 17 or 21 in the 4th quarter I wonder if Saban would pull the defensive starters so as to give Georgia a chance to make it a closer game so that Georgia would drop down to far in the rankings and thus further devalue the credit that LSU has already earned by beating them weeks ago.

They do need to bring back margin of victory but have a Cap of 21 points.

They also need to drop not getting credit for beating the same team twice. If both teams are still good enough to be in the Top ten for a Conference Championship you should get credit for beating them irregardless of playing them earlier.

If you do not win your conference you should get a penalty.

You should get quality win bonus for victories over the Top 25 (#11 get .09, #12 get .08 and so forth)

There has got to be a way to account for the human factor in SoS and quality wins meaning injuries and so forth. For example we were not nearly the same team after beating Florida (losing Mauck, Toefield, DJ, later Henderson, etc) but Florida and Virginia Tech should get credit for playing us at our best last year. The only way to do this may be to just double the "human rankings" in the equation. Writers and Coaches are more prone to at least slightly factor in changes like this throughout the year to teams.

They have to go to a 4 team playoff system.

Georgia's offensive line is pretty banged up at the moment so I think we could take them again even if it is in Atlanta. Defense will show up so we just have to expect the same level from the offense.

If we don't go to the Sugar, yeah it will be a load of bs - but this is still the best Tiger team in years and i'll go to any bowl we make it to. We all know that LSU deserves a nat'l champ game more than USC assuming we win out, but it is really out of our control at this point.

Either way you have to support your team for the great job they've done this year and not harp on bullshit computers or a flat offense against Floriduh.

I would be disappointed if our boys don't get in but even a playoff wouldnt solve this. Say Kstate beats OU, they still would take OU over Kstate into the playoff game. And OU wouldn't even have won their conference! How can you be second in the Big 12 and be a national champion?
Then if they had a 8 game playoff and the bracket or draw goes into Florida State's favor and say we knock off OU but lose to Michigan, Could you swallow a Michigan/Florida state championship game after this season???
I still like a 2 team playoff and may the best team win.
My most major concern is winning the SEC, I don't need someone to tell me that we are the best to know that we would split games or better with the top 5 on any given Saturday.
If we go to the Rose and play Michigan that would be sweet. Our boys would smoke them and we would be an unprecidented #2 after this year.

LSU is going to beat Georgia ... in their backyard. You all know it.

Will LSU get a Sugar Bowl? That is the only question.

LSU needs a tremendous push in AP votes .... TONIGHT.

Realistically, I think LSU "blew" their chance to get to #2 AP at Ole Miss with a close win & an Ohio State loss.

Hopefully, I wish that LSU moves up enough in the AP poll tonight and with a big win over GA ... and catch USC in the AP. There's always hope until the final BCS Poll comes out.

We'll see tonight when the AP/ESPN polls come out.

America deserves to see the LSU Defense slug it out with OKLA for the National title.

Your first scenario almost happen in the 2001 season with Miami and Nebraska except NEB did not even win their division much less the Big 12 Conference.

In your other scenario I could better swallow a Michigan/FSU game which was based on actual games on the field than I could a OK/USC match up in present system if we win out.

You must not like NFL playoffs or the NCAA basketball tournament if your big concern is bracket and draws.
