where was our over the middle stuff saturday night i remember seeing our wr's running over the middle 5 times, bowe's td that got called back, addais skinny post, and bowes 2 skinny posts, and early's post where he was open, just a guess but that has to be what russell excells at, hes got the arm strength to get the ball there without a safety playing centerfield picking it off, i remember we were awesome over the middle last year, curious why it wasnt called more often
His TD pass to Bowe was a thing of beauty... perfectly placed with a soft touch right over two defenders. His pass to Green earlier was placed where only Green could catch it. Russell seems to have great field awareness. His overthrown pass to Bowe in the endzone was a bit worrisome, though. This is what makes college football exciting. We might be witnessing the arrival of LSU's next great quarterback... or we might be watching another Jason Campbell. I will never boo Jamarcus, though, no matter which way it turns out. The boos for Randall were classless and embarrassing. You could see the pain in his eyes on the sidelines. I was tremendously happy for him that he scored the TD in overtime.
