I'm trying to find a good place in the Baton Rouge area to get a whole pig cleaned and skinned. I talked to Bergeron's in Port Allen and they have them for 1.99 a pound unseasoned or 2.49 seasoned and injected. If that a good price? Any other places I can try?

It was to let him see that 1.99 a pound was a pretty good price.

That price seems good, but 50 cents a pound for seasoning sounds pretty steep to me.

Bergeron's only had one that was bigger than I needed. I ended up ordering one from Roucher's in Plaquemine. $2.09 a pound and $25 to inject and season.
