Winning is great, don't get me wrong, but???? We need believers out there and I think the only way we'll get them to look at us is to get our "A" game and kick the living SH!T out of our remaining opponents. DOMINATION---------BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL!!!!!!! KICK THEIR ASS--------FOR A FULL 60 MINUTES!!!!!! WHERE THE HELL IS OUR "A" GAME?????? I think it's time to put the doubters to bed!!! Let's start with Ole Piss. One more thing Tigers--------- Keep the egg up on the board on Ole Piss, we DON'T want to piss off Saban!!!!!!
I would like to see the offense as consistant as the defense, I would like to see them be able to move the ball down the field in the whole game, not just the first half, or on and off like a light bulb. This could become a bad habit I think.
Where i sat in the endzone, I saw a very determined bama defense that made many plays with either a trip, an outstretched forearm tackle or a last gasp dive to keep us from making many big plays. I credit their defense for not giving up. We were whiskers away from winning 50 something to 0. I think they had a bit to do with our sputtering from my vantage point. The only time they seemed to give up was when we ran right over them after they went for it on 4th and 16 and missed. We marched down the field running the ball only to stall to make 3 points. Anyone see it the same way I did? Oh by the way... we need to start splitting our visitors crowds up like they did to us. 1/2 were in the north end zone, 1/4 were in the south end zone and the other 1/4 were split on in the upper deck on the far end of each side.
Yeah, you could tell bama didn't have a chump D. They just can't stay on the field the whole game and win. Kudos to the bama D. Our 3rd drive they held tough and on into the rest of the game.
Watched the game sober on Cox and, yes, I was impressed with Bama's D and with their effort. They are not folding their tent and Auburn is in trouble next week.
I felt like our offense sputtered due to Bama's defense more than our ineptitude. Remember, they hung with Oklahoma, so they hung with us. Towards the end of the game, we were running at will on them, but I don't think Coach Saban was really interested in running up the score. I believe he wanted the shut-out more than anything, which we fell short on. Still, our opponents have had a difficult time, at best, getting into the endzone this year.
