:hihi: Obviously some sarcasm directed to the Brady Bashers I see... Yes, actually Boehiem is a good coach... but only when 'Melo was there

.
But seriously, as I expected, Syracuse was coming in flat off of their Big East tourney win (note to hoopster novices, winning your conference tourney is NOT a good thing), but more true to form TEXAS A&M is a DECENT team. Billy Gillipsie IS a good fundamental coach, and quite honestly, if we went after a regional coach to replace Brady (prior to this year), I might have made a run at Billy G. They play good solid d, they've started to really play in the last half of the season, and have some athletic guys who can hurt you--including... yes, a good big man, and a couple of good guards.
That being said, I would have still preferred to face TA&M than Syracuse, just because McNamara would have been a guy that could really hurt us and I would have been afraid of Brady being psyched out with Boehiem on the other bench.
Expect a lower scoring affair, with a lot of good d being played. If we play like we did in the second half today, I do think we'll be in good shape, just because we have a very formidable front line if Thomas, Davis and Lazare are all active. And, I think Temple and Tas' will match up well against A&M guards.
