When do we hear about the Florida game as the ESPN game day site?

    When do we hear if ESPN game day is coming here for the Florida game?

    Who do you think will pick up the game now that Florida lost? It should be interesting. I still think it will be the SEC game of the week therefore it will probably get moved to a day game.

    Any thoughts?

    Here's what we're up against for the next few weeks:

    Oct 15: Florida @ LSU
    USC @ Notre Dame
    Irrelevant @ Inconsequential

    My take: Give me a break, can you imagine a scenario where they wouldn't go to USC/ND (even before UF got BLASTED)? Two most media hyped teams in history...




    Oct 22: Auburn @ LSU
    Purdue @ Wisconsin
    Georgia Tech @ Miami (Fla.)
    Tennessee @ Alabama

    My take: This is it. Our best chance at Gameday this year..if we don't get GD here, we will be waiting until next year.

    Hopefully we still play a night game on ESPN or ESPN 2. I agree game day will not be making their way to TS with those two games going.

    Vandy is at 6pm ESPN. Florida is 2:30 on CBS. Auburn is likely night game ESPN.

    Rumor has it that ESPN is seriously looking at the Appalachian State game.

    Would not surprise me, since our game with UT drew it's highest rating ever. Clearly they believe, and are probably right, that the rating was due to the interest/compassion KatRita has bestowed upon the team.

    They already covered USC once this year. I thought they wouldn't go cover the same school twice.

    They wont GO to the same school twice, but they have no problem covering the same school twice... They will have trouble staying out of the SEC with LSU/UF, UT/Bama (with all of its subplots), Cocktail Party, UT/ND, and the Iron Bowl... Not to mention LSU at Bama should bama stay undefeated...

    If Alabama stays undefeated until then and UT doesn't lose again, I see GD in Tuscaloosa for the 22nd.
