    I'm interested to hear,

Do you generalize & categorize Atheists (Agnostics etc)?

Do you look down upon them?

Do you believe they are less moral than others?

One of my best friends is an atheist. He is by far one of the most moral people I know. Not only that but he is very careful in the way he lives his life each and every day. Taking the best possible care of himself and those around him. He values life, both his own and the lives of everyone else. In his mind, it's all there is.

I know alot of very moral athiests. The lack of belief in God does not make one immoral or ammoral. I do still pity them. They are always looking for something and can never find it.

Sounds very much like one of my best friends. He is, without question, one of the nicest, most caring, humble, and honest individuals you will ever meet. Always very positive, and just a great guy to be around. The thought that anyone would say that he is condemned to eternal damnation is egregious. I seriously doubt he's ever intentionally wronged anyone in his life.

You believe what you believe. You can try to convince yourself that you believe in God, but if you don't, you don't.

I would never look down on them. They have to make a choice just like I do. With no belief in a future, their family is simply existing. A dog dies and you bury it, never expecting to see it again. Is that the same with an atheistic family? I surely would respect them for being "good" people. But if you could absolutely prove to me (and others) that death was the final chapter-----I would take what I and my family were strong enough to take. The strong would prevail throughout the universe. I would just rather die with someone thinking I was a good man.

I think atheists tend to me more liberal than conservative.
I also think they are for abortion and other things that most conservatives are against.
I think its safe to say that most people who don't believe in god have less to feel guilty
about than those that believe in god, therefore they can get away with things.
Notice I said most not all, there are definitely exceptions to the rule just like there
are some that claim religion that aren't who they appear.
