Country groceries. Home fried chicken, fried okra with onions, garden fresh peas, corn on the cob, and salad.

Salad was lettuce with your choice of:
    olives
    cheese
    pickled okra
    chipped green onion
    pickled banana peppers
    chopped boiled eggs
    chopped bell peppers
    croutons
    and various dressings

    tender garlic bread

    Desert--
home made brownies topped with your
choice of vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate ice cream.

    Tonight:

Take out from one of my favorite Chinese restaurants:

    http://www.hochow.com

I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years and have yet to be disappointed.
    Upscale but reasonable place.
My wife threw a surprise birthday party for me there end of '05 with 30 of our friends..

    Here's what we got:

    Hot and Sour Soup
    Spicy Dumplings
    Kung Pao Chicken
    Mandarin Beef

Stix is a very close 2nd!! I think it's second because we went there soooo often that when we went to Nagoya, different was better.

Bonsai is good too, it just stays too crowded to get in/out.

Nagoya is on 55N, off Countyline Rd next to Target. Or there's one a little farther up in Madison. Both are Excellent.:thumb:

You can't go wrong with Stix or Bonsai though!

Tonight we're making pizza on the grill. Chicken, spinach, mushrooms, alfredo sauce and cheese.
