an antipasto salad and half a meatball parmigiana sandwich from a hole in the wall place here.

and a couple of cookies from a bakery that tasted like some sort of amaretto cookie.

Not sure honestly. I would need a sponsor to find out because I would probably have to spend $100+ to max out. I don't really wanna know that bad.

We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse tonight. We went a couple of months ago and it was to die for! The best steak I have ahd in Florida...this time...not so much. I sent my first steak back because it wasn't right and the next time it was ok but still wasn't close to that first steak I had there. I really am heartbroken about it. the first time I went it was within the first 3 months they had opened. I wonder if maybe they were working really hard to make things perfect when they first opened and now are slacking off. I don't know, but we have a gift card for $50 to there that we got for Christmas, so I guess I have to give them a second chance.

The Texas Roadhouse in Baton Rouge closed and has been demolished. Their steaks were never top notch and their service was just horrible. Being across the street from TJ's and Outback didn't help, I imagine.

I never ate at that one, but I did eat at a Texas Roadhouse in Texas and it was decent.

Don't go to the Logan's by the Mall of LA. It's terrible.

The one on Siegen is still there, pretty sure. I've been to that one several times and I like it. It's consistently decent. I can't really say it's good because I have experienced the pinnacle of steak bliss and it pales in comparison.

Anyone been to the new TJ's on Siegen? I'm sure the food is about the same as the one on Acadian but I'm curious to see how it looks in there. There is so much LSU junk in the other one, specifically the Heisman. I'm wondering if maybe they put a replica crystal ball or 2 in the new one.

Tonight I had shrimp stir fry. Tried something new and added red peppers... it worked out nicely.

My brother lives in Fort Worth, and every time I visit we eat at Saltgrass Steak House. They have some of the friendliest staff I've seen anywhere, and the food is exceptional.
