Most road games I have been to we have lost...

2000 Ole Miss was one I enjoyed because before the game all the Ole Miss fans had to say was "UAB, UAB"....after that victory, I was so happy to say "UAB beat us, We beat you.....so I guess that means UAB can kick your A$$ :D :D :D :D .

Welcome to the Board, S'portTiger......Glad to have you!!!!!

The best road game I have attended was last year at the Swamp. I had a good time in Tampa and a great time in Gainesville. I was at the 01 game against Bama and it was great but last years victory at the Swamp was better.

    1. 2002 Florida. Went with TAF-Collegiate Club. Hung out with Half-Assed Tailgatin Tigers. Awesome experience....drunken jump rope was funny. The game was awesome.....just looking down on the Florida student section as we were yelling L-S-U! and saying "and it SUCKS to be a Flooooorida Gator".

    2. 2000 Peach Bowl vs. Ga Tech. Technically it's a neutral site but we were outnumbered big time. Second half was awesome....Tommy Banks running in the touchdown and Josh Reed with that ridiculous one footed landing at the back of the endzone for the 2-point conversion.

    3. Kentucky 2001. Sitting by some asshole Kentucky fan who started talking smack when they took the lead. When Clayton caught the touchdown I pointed at the scoreboard and then we pointed at the UK fan and laughed.

Alabama 2001 Josh Reed might still be running
SEC Title game 2001 I thought I was going to be sick when Rohan got hurt but Mauck stepped up to the plate big time.

Old Piss 2000 was pretty good. Winning was NICE considering how obnoxious the Old Piss fans were as we were going into the stadium.

One of the FUNNEST trips for me was 1984 Florida. My roommate came back to our apartment the Friday before the UF game. He asked me if I wanted to take a road trip. I said, "WHERE?" He said, "Gainesville". I said "FOR WHAT?" He said "The game tomorrow." I said, "WHAT? We'd have to leave like RIGHT NOW." He said, "We can take my car, I'll take the first driving shift."

Being in college, I said, "SURE, What the F*(K". So, we went. We met up with some other friends and went an hung out with the older Motorhome LSU fans that made every game. Despite not knowing us from Adam, they fed us and got us drunk as skunks.

Our seats were AWESOME. We were on the first row on the endzone right above the big orange brick wall. We took off our shirts (it was in the 80's) and sat on the wall the entire game. If Juan Betanzos' missed field goal at the end of the game (the game finished in a tie) had gone about another five yards, I would have caught it. I still curse the Ghost of Juan Bentanzos to this day. All in all, though, it was a FUN trip.
