in the leatherneck game? Shyrone played maost of the second half. Was Addai yanked cuz he fumbled?

I lie Addai better than Shyrone - he's biggr and faster. He damn well better not fumble this weekend.

Nick does a lot of things NFL style. He expects a player to take his job seriously. Make a mistake and you are given a chance to correct it. Make a mistake twice and Nick may try someone else to fill your shoes.

Yeah, having the ball pop out 2 plays in a row must have sent Saban through the roof (if there would have been one). I guess he figured that he could get two things accomplished. 1. Punish Addai to make an example out of him ("See, even the starter is accountable"). 2. See if Carey can play an entire game without getting hurt. He did these things in a game that we had pretty much in hand so there was not a lot of danger of it affecting the outcome of the game.

Plus I would bet that he made a HUGE deal out of fumbling through the entire week of practice after a certain freshman put it on the ground twice against Arizona. I seem to remember seeing Alley Broussard carrying a ball around when I saw him on TV during a Sports report. Probably slept with it. I bet that Addai has one right now...
