I was reading this article in the advocate about how ESPN and CBS divides their SEC games and it says they pick them in a draft style fashion. CBS gets the first two picks and ESPN got the third. Considering our game was third picked, what 2 SEC games are bigger to CBS to pass over LSU-UT?????
I'm guessing TEnn/UF and maybe Bama/UT or the cocktail party. anybody know for sure???

sorry, I completely misunderstood what you said. Florida is probably in both of them, florida-georgia, and florida-tennessee. outdoor cocktail party and then florida and tenessee is always one to watch, especially with everybody so in love with Urban Meyer this year.

I'm saying that CBS probably thought Florida-Tennessee and Florida-Georgia would be bigger games, so they probably chose those, but no way I actually know whether they did or not.

I don't think the other game is Fla-Ga.

I think the other game is LSU-Arkansas. Not because of which game is "bigger" or would "mean more" but just for programming sakes.

If you see which games are locked in for CBS coverage, the only games are Tenn/Fla and LSU/Ark.

So I think those two went 1-2, and ESPN took LSU-Tenn.

Although, I could be wrong, it did happen that one other time.

Also, does this only include SEC vs SEC games, or any game on an SEC teams home schedule? Because Florida has Florida State at home this year, and I can tell you that is definately one of the games they picked if they had the option to do so. The two games Florida has on CBS this year are the Tennessee game and then the Florida State game.
