I was SO pissed off when they switched the game here in Texas--for one thing, if anyone in Texas CARED about the game, they had purchased it on Gameplan. So, they didn't even SEE it.

I wanted to cuss so badly, but my four-year-old was in the room.

Sure, BUT, they switched over to a very close game that had less than two minutes to final gun.

I was angry at first, but, I think it was a very sound decision by the network. Besides, the switch-over motivated me to fire up my fancy radion and antenna and listen to the game on radio 870am WWL, New Orleans. I live close to NYC, so, it's tough to catch that signal way up here.

You're correct, it was a better game to air at the time. I'm sure they thought the TV viewers were clearing out just like the stands were in the stadium.

Besides, it didn't last too long and they switched back. So no real harm done.
I just didn't see it coming.

We were at the game, I guess it's a good thing I didnt set up the VCR to record it. I'll catch it today on the Geaux Zone.

I ended up on the phone with my parents in Baton Rouge. They gave me a play-by-play while we were subjected to Clemson/SC.

I understood why they did it, but after the SC turnover it was game over. They should have switched it back right there. I don't think the nation wanted to see Clemson take a knee for 2 minutes.
