I've sent about 20lbs to my parents in Ohio since I've been at school because they will never find it up there. My dad stores it in the big freezer in the garage so he always has a ready supply handy.
No Starbucks here. I'll stop in on business trips if there is one on the way to the site or in the hotel. No when I'm back in BR my mom, sis and I always go to CC's for mochasippis. I grew up on those things and miss them like crazy here. Hazelnut for me, turtle for mom and french vanilla for my sis.
i tried out a new cake (from scratch) and icing recipe. i make a spice cake with a caramel icing to take down to the station. i had just a little bit - quality control, of course :grin: - and it was sooooo good. i may have to make one for us.
Red cups are back at Starbucks! Non fat, no whip Peppermint Mocha Latte!!!! We were in Denver over the weekend and it was great to have one when the weather actually felt like holiday weather! Now, I'm back in Houston and it feels like May :bncry:
Have really been enjoying all the tootsie rolls and snickers and butterfingers and the like that the thin folks have been bringing in since Halloween. The fat folks keep their leftover trick or treat to themselves. There's a bowl of them everywhere you look around my office . Guess who's eatin' 'em ? Yep, the lardasses.
