Does Matt Mauck remind anyone else here of Alan Risher? Actually, Mauck has a stronger arm, but there are some real similarities.

As far as Western Illinois goes, the difference between 1-A and 1-AA is immense. Note what happened to McNeese on Saturday. Western Illinois will be no UAB for LSU.

As to what we can improve on: better pass blocking from the O-line. The run blocking looked great. Better tackling by the defense. Use this upcoming game to start bringing it all together. We'll need to be hitting on all cylinders for Georgia.

First, will everyone recall the second drive, the 3rd down right before the field goal. It's third and two. Why in the name of all that is holy do we line up in shotgun. Especially after running it down their throats on the first drive. I'm not concerned whether we pass or run(we have a pretty good shot either way), but could we at least make them think we might power for the first. Maybe they bring the safeties in leaving tight coverage on our far superior receivers. I guess the point is - why be one dimensional when you don't have to.

Two, where the hell are the tight ends. two games, no catches. I know what everyone is thinking, who needs them with all the talent at receiver. I'll tell you that when georgia comes to town, DB's and LB's tend to be in the right spots more often, and I'm telling you we need the threat of a TE reception every now and then over the middle to keep LB's and Safeties honest.

There were two catches by TE's in the AZ game. One by Jones and another by Zinger. The one to Jones covered pretty good yardage.

I agree that we need to use the TE's as a weapon, but with Clayton, Henderson, Green, Bowe as WR's and Addai and Vincent as good options to catch out of the backfield, we have lots of good options to use as targets for the passing game.
