1. That guy is guessing just like all of us would be. An RJF will bulk up at LSU, whether or not he is able to put on the good weight we will have to wait and see. However, they're are tons of DE's who are great that aren't heavy. We faced 2 real good ones last year vs Iowa and Oregon St.
  2. Agreed.

Given our depth chart for '05, it looks like RJF will have a great opportunity to get him aclimated to the rigors of college and life in the SEC.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him play this season--he seems to be talented enough, but my gut feeling is that he'll redshirt. With Kirston Pittman, Chase Pittman, Oliver, etc. already battling for playing time this season, a RS season might be the best thing for both RJF and our defense in the long run.

Next season, we'll lose some DE's to graduation, and RJF and Al Jones would be ready to slip in!
  3. Gotta love those Canes fans, they just start making stuff up about how he won't qualify and then how the NCAA is going to 'red-flag' him. I'm sure the L$U references will come soon.
  4. All kids bulk up in college,......so what he is saying is technically true.
  5. That's ok because the way I see it, we've got at LEAST 3 players on our team that the 'Canes were recruiting very heavily (Bowe, Highsmith and RJF).

They (Miami Hurricanes), can all go suck an egg!
  6. The guys is listed on scout at 6-3 245.. that is plenty of size for a freshmen DE... give moffit a year and he'll have the guy up to 265, light, but great for a speed rusher.. Jason Taylor (Miami) is only 255, though on a 6'6" frame, that makes him even lankier...
  7. He's more linebacker size now, why not play him there? Is he too slow to play LB?
