What Louisiana School would make the best fiit in C-USA?

    What Louisiana School would make the best fit in C-USA?

    LA Tech
    -pro: women's bball, location, financial structure
    -con: facilities, most other sports
    ULL
    -pro: baseball, basketball, location, facilities
    -con: football, fan interest
    ULM
    -pro: I don't know
    -con: everything
    Southern
    -pro: pretty much every sport, location, fan interest
    -con: moving up a division in football
    Mcneese
    -pro: football, baseball, fan interest, location
    -con: same as southern

    What do you guys think?

    I would guess either Tech or McNeese. Tech could be competitive in football almost immediately and McNeese could be competitive within a few years. As
    we all know, football pays the bills, so that's what you need to look at.

    Tech, the others don't even belong on the list. Tech would need a coaching change before becoming competitive in football, but would already win the conference championship in women's basketball.

    My top two choices would be Southern or Mcneese St. LA Tech, ULL, and ULM have all reached their maximum potential. Either of these schools would be a risk but they could become very successful.

    No, but because of departing schools, cusa will need to add members.

    Southern in Division IA?? That would fly against many of traditions/association involved in playing in the SWAC, plus, I don't think they could be the Champions of the Black College Association anymore. It is interesting to talk about these situations though, it would be interesting having LaTech in CUSA, they could still schedule all of their money making games, you know like Miami (of Florida), Virginia Tech, Tennessee. geezz....
