What kind of score against UNT would leave you pleased.

What kind of score against UNT would leave you pleased?

For me it would have to be like 42-10 or 35-3. I would be satisfied with those kind of scores.

 

kinda depends. if we get up 30 or more and look sharp, then bring in 2nd and 3rd teams i'm ok with 42-21. i want no TDs on our 1st team, nice holes opened by our OL and some promising precision by passing game.

 

we can score more than 40....

Texas had 60... and NT lost some of their doggs on that defensive unit...

I have heard that Les Miles is a coach that dosen't mind running up the score a little. I hope we can keep them from scoring at all and would love to see a lot of offense from the Tigers. How about 56-3.

 

Since it's the first game of the season, a 30+ win-margin would be okay with me. As cgi pointed out, this is a very young NT team. Texas whooped them last year when they had a whole lot more experience on their team, so I am hopeful that we can really put a beat down on them.

Ideally, I'd like our first team offense to play the entire first half, scoring around 30-40pts, with 2nd & 3rd string coming in the second half & putting a couple more points on the board.

 

I think that the loss of practice time could hurt, but that deep down this team will be playing and representing the state Sat night, and will play spirited ball

in years past, I agree, but with the Harris coming out late this year, you have to beat NT by more than 1 pt

 

I give a **** less what the score is as long as we win.

With what has happened I can understand how the players wont have their heads in the game. It is VERY UNDERSTANDABLE.

SO just to get the win will be just fine with me.

 

A win by more than 30 and they should not score more than 10 if they score at all. Face it it's a rent a win and should show that at the end of the game.
